Tiger Woods has sparked controversy after appearing to hand his playing partner Justin Thomas a tampon in his first appearance in seven months at the Genesis Invitational.
The incident happened on the ninth hole after Woods out-drove Thomas off the tee – a trait of his game on Thursday as he regularly cleared his player partners along with Rory McIlroy.
After Thomas walked off the tee box on the ninth, Woods, walking alongside him, was seen handing the two-time US PGA Championship winner something from his left hand.
