for Hannah and then at the 17th for another a 63 tournament record in uh the two years we’ve had this event from Thailand Padre and Anar rukan for 30 eight ah quite the stretch birdie eagle birdie birdie he gets to double it’s Nelly Corda trying to start a new win streak this week this is its seven long range the toughest hols on that Golf Course making it look easy at the start for Nelly three under par on her front nine Gabby Ruffles leads the Rookie of the Year race or third at the eighth got off to a really hot start open with four straight birdies all right and at the ninth which uh is always tough to take a par and run to the 10th scrambled and got it done yeah and this lie is not too bad it’s not a severely downhill and the balls sitting up quite well beautiful that’s the chipping that we’ve gotten used to seeing it’s one of the best parts of her game not not quite as much from those lies in the rough more so you really see it when she’s on that one was a lot easier than what she’s dealt with at uh last two greens but this is a good place to be putting from actually it’s almost something unusual K you would typically see Nelly chip that yeah I almost thought she might have had to had a wedge out but she didn’t just a moment ago at the 12th Gabby Ruffles with her second trying to get something on the top of that slope what an interesting bounce that took so I can understand her wanting to come up short of the hole and the weather just not getting any better Cav is talking about it the rain starting to come down now I’ve had to put on my rain jacket we might see a few umbrellas come out and the wind seems to have kicked up in the last 10 minutes or so so you might be right grant these players out on the golf course may have the worst of the conditions Hannah green talked about not a lot that goes wrong just a moment ago where is mini Kang she’s at the 16th rookie from Korea oh she was not in view and now the ball isn’t sounded like good crisp contact but there’s uh three PS in a pod let’s see if Nelly got a good read here Nelly asked ARA to move her ball Mark over got a perfect read off Anna no assist no yeah 66 ft short of the flag not a lot of green to work with so I think she’s got go high with this one which is exactly what she’s done there was a good touch there I’ve been impressed with what we’ve seen so far from Gabby and how she’s handled that situation Tom yeah I mean she dominated and that gave her the confidence dominated on the Epson to that gave her the confidence to come out here that was unfortunate and I think you got to go back to that third shot I mean she just got really unlucky being in the divot she paced 21 steps from her ball to the hole [Music] [Applause] this type of grass in the Northeast it’s just it’s so much even more dependable than Bermuda she’s so good really challenge these players and give them the opportunity to move up this leaderboard hajer Nar RAR at 15 people who I really got to know and respect and admire still du to this day of course Gabby for birdie at 14 yeah she going to play out of turn because M Sergo I think is waiting for a ruling having gone in the penalty area behind the green she was putting right back towards the Statue of Liberty there not many go courses five points for an eagle in that modified stable for scoring system birdie putt for Anana rar really had it rolling but couple of Bogies has knocked her back Nelly with a little work left here at the 14th just a little Jason always with a word of encouragement and the breeze down off the left digging that one out and just left of the flag seems like it should be good if it puts the brakes on oh what a brilliant shot played the ball back in her stance there here is aaka buay second at 17 whole location all the way in the back left today aaka having a very good angle coming in from the right side of that Fairway here’s Gabby to tie the lead that was a really good look there the screen has at least four sections and Gabby did so well to get it into the correct section but just above the hole doesn’t make it easy she had seen mous Sao hit her second shot before Gabby hit hers and and Mae came out pretty hot right over the green so that’s why I think she was a little concerned that it was going to come out sitting down just a little bit but good angle ball a little below her feet she’s going at it with an eight iron oh how about this judgment of hit and release it’s a bit of a guessing game but in her third season she just keeps playing well it feels like every week that’d be interested to see how she plays tomorrow she keeps putting herself in these positions as a very solid game but she said that she feels like she needs to be a little bit mentally stronger MH on Sundays in order to get it done and here She is again she had a good run and at about 10 ft on the green and let it release all the way down to the hole just needs a bit more Pace to get into the bowl it’s not going to get there it grabbed slightly with San Antonio Texas and here in the metropolitan area aaka food away [Music] what an aggressive play to 18 barely Landing it can’t be trying to work one back towards that flag but it’s just hanging out to the [Applause] left yeah using the Contour of the green wonderfully there the scoring average has increased a little bit about 3/10 of a stroke with this cold heavy air and a little wind hurting I don’t think that was your best strike but it’ll work out win again pader Anan rukan at the 18th oh yeah really good day for Padre a 68 she won a year go next week trying to come back on the wind but staying safely right at the flag stick trying to draw it in a little yeah that’ll do over at the 17th what a story this has been so me Le he was the last player to get into the field as an alternate and this was for birdie at the 17th yes just enough shot 66 with only an hour to get ready think she liked the way she stroked that one just didn’t turn it all did it 26 putts for Nelly especially why we see such tremendous Talent now coming through the junior ranks oh how about a TI Tian that is an incredible rally for Atia
