Highlights | Round 1 | Charles Schwab | 2024

back at 10 here comes the long birdie putt for Tony feno now up and over the Ridge and then should work to the right at the end look what I found look who just stole one to start the morning the FedEx Cup race a year ago to retain his PG tour card for another season keep chipping like that get it back to even nice smile that one 66 here for Brian little ball above his feet you can turn it back to that whole location oh look at that and that’s going to roll out a little bit what a great shot struer from 163 here at 12 that’s a good line there swanie yes it was all over it this from a few moments ago Justin Rose from off the green at 14 used a wedge to get this one in yes love that technique right there with a toe down with the wedge in the rough a little bit not going to be able to spin it at all oh go in perfectly judged moving ahead to 16t and Ricky Fowler well this hole got a little longer playing 214 yards today oh what a shot wow oh boy oh wow oh boy oh how about that 54t for birdie Taylor Moore hello over to the 17th Brian Harmon second this pinch would fit his eye likes to draw it in and it does kind of like that what a shot cough up a shot because of the putter Taylor Moore has made the turn this at the first trying to get on his Chariot and make something happen oh look at this you’re not going to do much better than that swanie yeah I would agree to the eight playing 199 today that’s the t-shot of Vincent Norman and it is a dazzling delivery to the E playing 199 t- shot of Min wo Lee such a goodlooking golf swing right there Zack Johnson one under par par 51 go in be good do everything almost got your wish walks away with another birdie and skins on the te here playing a draw into the flag challenging this pin location only five from the left beautiful shot here in Ry next to play 13 oh that’s a cool look trying to bleed it in from the left side oh go in oh what a shot this is fun wow oh did that have a nice sound to it yeah just taking it downstairs pull the string [Applause] swanie we’ll go to Five that’s a thick lie for Taylor Moore you could hear it coming out of there a very favorable bounce up onto the surface look at this one and how about young also a long putt for birdie from downtown on the bottom tier gets it to go in wow if that didn’t hit the flag does it go in I think it will we’ll go to the E and is the t-shot of Wesley Bryan and it was glorious that had everybody’s [Music] attention more cow looks like he’s got a tangly little eye down there at four certainly does but expertly played right there not an issue I mean ideally I mean he he should be able to hit a reasonably good shot here which I think he is done oh oh wow it hit the flag stick that Pon Cy playing on a uh a Champions exemption this week go there’s a Champions committee that chooses uh a small group of players to get exemption and he was uh on that list this year and best shot of the day at the fourth for cudia amazing that’ll lead to a birdie to to get him to 200 far you’re going to get the hit and wait or wait and hit that’ll give us a minute to get over to the eighth swish swish Tony from long range and we’ve got another four under okay okay swanie give me the footage of putts made by feno as we move back to the ninth and Austin ekro at two over his third trying to take that aim use a slope there it is going going oh what a shot he could fly it almost halfway there or third two thirds of the way or he could play a runner so we’ll see what he decides to do going upstairs and that is why you miss it on the right side there you go textbook yep he can certainly com compartmentalize a lot of things and once he gets on the golf course he is all business that is a nice pickup at the fourth the front leg a little bit lower yeah see it com out low nice work there by Scotty certainly made it look easier than what it was hello even better even [Applause] better Scotty Sheffer I’ll see your fine bunker shop and I’ll raise you one I guess I know why we’re showing this maybe 69 F 8 in you’ve got to be kidding oh count it how about that that’s how you still one out here and quickly get to minus two a man who’s at 137 he needs some of those what a way to start our 16th old coverage absolutely bananas all right Joel Damon on the t plus one and I don’t know what that was holding left yeah but he got away with it he’s going to go in oh that turns out to be a great shot so he’ll have that to get back to even Park Mr Palmer one here that was a little homage to Mr Palmer’s follow through how different these greens look as we watch Hoffman here had a chance to get it to five under had a really good day so far bogey free back down into that ball this one looks really good yes about 5T short there there’s a little down slope he got to get that speed just right and he did great round of gol so far for the veteran drive one in that low cut yeah well it’s right back into the teeth of the wind oh good is this this what a shot boy pretty much right at it he got the club right too man what a shot yeah after a terrific Drive John here’s Jordan yeah perfect t-shot ball slightly above his feet from 132 this is take dead aim all day long there you go hello Jordan yeah that’s how to end your day must TV yeah that’s what a shot downwind takes a big hop and checks right to the hole live from Fort Worth and then the Encore presentation comes your way here on Golf Channel at 8:00 pm eastern time we didn’t talk a lot about Tony fenel because he played in the morning and Brian Harmon as well but we will see a lot of them in the afternoon tomorrow thanks for watching the PJ Tour on YouTube watch another video right here

The PGA TOUR returns to Colonial Country Club this week for the Charles Schwab Challenge – the longest-running TOUR event among non-majors held annually at the same site. This is the 78th edition, but it’s the first time it’s being presented after its huge restoration over the past year. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will be in the field this week. Scheffler recorded his 10th top-10 finish in 11 events so far in 2024 at the PGA Championship. The Texas native has also had great success here, claiming T3 and T2 in the last two years. Collin Morikawa returns fresh off a T4 at the PGA Championship. Since a T3 at the Masters six weeks ago, he’s reemerged as a persistent force with three top-10s and another two top-25s. He’s also never missed the cut at the Charles Schwab Challenge, with his highest-ever finish coming in 2020 when he finished runner-up. Texas native Jordan Spieth will also tee it up in his home state this week. He’s seen success here in previous years with a win in 2016, two second place finishes and another four top-10s. Others to look out for are Tony Finau, Max Homa, Justin Rose and Tom Kim.

Atleast put the venue in the description if not the title. No one cares about corporate sponsorship. Having said that, the ambiance on this channel is uplifting and invigorating, I’m beside myself with excess moisture having the opportunity to share with such amazing and highly intelligent individuals

Some golfers hitting shots in random context and order. One holed out 54 feet…noone knows why and what he gained

@fischook1238 May 25, 2024 - 11:08 pm

……..Grayson Murray suffered from Depression.. It is a chemical imbalance in the brain. It sounds like it might have been a suicide.
He never had a chance. Once the illness gets you in it's grip you cannot fight it no matter how strong you are. It is a terrible sickness.
I believe the golfing community needs to educate itself to protect all the people in this profession. There is a lot of ignorance when it comes to depression. The brain scans of depressed brains look different than a person with a normal brain. It is a very sad day today in the world of golf and the wolrd of sport. It is a shame someone was not there to see whether he was o.k.. He never had a chance……
