In the second round of the 2019 Wells Fargo Championship, Jason Day jumped up the leaderboard by two spots after carding a 2-under 69 to land within the top 10 heading into Saturday.

The Wells Fargo Championship takes place at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, NC. One of golf’s greatest players, Phil Mickelson returns for a shot at the title along with two-time Wells Fargo champ, Rory McIlroy. In 2018, former World Number One Jason Day claimed his 12th PGA TOUR win with a two-stroke victory over Nick Watney and Aaron Wise.

I don’t understand why he says toed it. Shouldn’t the twist face make toeing do the same as puring it?🤔

day will never reach his potential until he learns to finesse rather than overpower his iron shots…he loses more strokes on mishits where he tries to nuke a club rather than being able to play more delicate shots

day needs to hit softer iron shots, very good already but could start winning a lot if he controls his irons better.

Jason Days potential was reached 2015-2016 season. 5 wins one year in a span of 7 months PGA championship, Players, WGC, BMW (fed ex cup playoff) event, Arnold Palmer invitational, not to mention repeated wins on courses where they played majors. He is capable of 5 wins a year because he did it before. And all these wins are big tournaments with world points and social implications.
